About
I am a U.S.-born actor, voice artist, and teacher of performance who has lived and worked in Europe since 1987.
Over fifty years on stage and in front of the camera, my work has moved through theatre, film, dubbing, and teaching in several countries and languages.
A formative period of my life was my eleven years with Odin Teatret in Denmark, working under the direction of Eugenio Barba. That experience profoundly shaped my understanding of the actor’s craft, the relationship between language and physical presence, and the discipline required to sustain a life in performance. A number of the practical principles I share in my coaching grow directly out of that experience.
Over the years I have also taught in several of Italy’s leading drama academies. Many of my former students are now working actors in theatre, film, and television.
Today I work primarily through private coaching sessions from my studio in Italy, helping actors and professionals develop clarity, confidence, and expressive precision in their spoken performance.

A key specialty of my coaching is multilingual accent work — helping performers speak one language with the natural accent of another, an increasingly valuable skill in international film and television.
Accent & Diction
Refining or adjusting an accent in English or French — for a role, a self-tape, or everyday professional life. Work on specific sounds, rhythm, and the physical habits that carry an accent, not just the sounds themselves.
Best for: an actor whose accent needs to disappear, or change, for a specific role.
Audition & Self-Tape Preparation
Focused work on a scene or audition piece: finding the character's intention, adjusting pacing, and building a delivery that holds up on camera. Useful before a callback, a self-tape deadline, or a first audition in a second language.
Best for: an audition or self-tape with a firm deadline.
Multilingual Language Coaching
For actors and professionals who need to speak English or French with clarity and natural rhythm — for a role, a public role at work, or day-to-day confidence in a second language.
Best for: a doctor, executive, or academic who must speak or present at a conference in English or French.

How Sessions Work
Sessions take place remotely, over video call, from my studio in Italy.
A first session usually runs 40 to 80 minutes, depending on what you bring to it, and focuses on a single scene, piece, or specific challenge. From there, some clients come for one focused session before an audition or a talk; others work with me over a longer stretch, at a pace that suits the material.
Rates are discussed directly by email, based on what you're preparing for.
